    Hi,<BR><BR>i am sending data to a database from a multiple select box. this means that when the user selects several choices the request.form turns out like this: ,1,2,3,4,5 etc. (the numbers display the id of the data sent)<BR>now i need to format this so that each number gets on a row of its own in the table.<BR>How to do this??<BR><BR>thnx<BR>/dboy

    YOU NEED TO USE SPLIT.<BR><BR>tmp = Split(Request.Form("SELECT BOX NAME"), ", ")<BR> <BR>For x = 0 To UBound(tmp)<BR><BR>&#039Put what ever you want to do with the date here like.<BR><BR>sql="insert into tbl values(&#039"& tmp(x) &"&#039)"<BR><BR><BR>Next<BR><BR><BR>Hope this helps, if you have any problems with this let me know.
