Default storing collections in the 'Session'

Up until now, I&#039ve made the mistake of storing the dictionary object in a session variable. I gather storing COM in the session is Not Recommended. As an alternative, would a collection returned from a VB component be acceptable to store in the session ?

No, no, no, no, no. That&#039s a COM object as well! Store nothing in Session variables, and if you MUST, only store integers or strings. Read:

Are Session Varialbes Really Evil?
http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/faq/Advanced/faq4.shtml

To find out why, exactly. You&#039ve got to ween yourself from using Session variables altogether! YOU CAN DO IT!! :)
