Default security pickle

    Hi,

I am building an intranet that will use windows based autentication and url based autorization.

I have a search results page, that brings back a list of links to pages within the site.

I need to programtically check whether the current authenticated user can access a given aspx resource before showing them a link to the page.

ie, I dont want to show a link if the user is not allowed access the the particular url. I cant seem to find a way of doing this? Surley this is so,ething that people do all the time? Is there something in .net web security classes that I am missing?

Thanks

Jon
