    Default Help on closing Recordset object

    I have created some Recordsets in an ASP page in between HTML tags.<BR>At the end of the ASP page before &#060;/form&#062;, I have typed the following<BR><BR>conn.close &#039 connection object close<BR>recdset1.close &#039(error occurs on this line)<BR><BR>set conn = nothing<BR>set recdset1 = nothing<BR>&#060;/form&#062;<BR>&#060;/body&#062;<BR>&#060;/html&#062;<BR>It gives me the following error:<BR>the operation requested by te application is not allowed if the object is closed.<BR>I haven&#039t closed the recordset anywhere earlier.<BR>could some one help me pls..<BR>thank you

    You need to close the recordset prior to closing the connection.<BR><BR>The recordset is a subset of the connection, so thus if you close the connection, you lose the recordset.<BR><BR>HTH<BR><BR>Jerry<BR><BR>
