why use a prefix at all? you can hide the system stored procedures from Enterprise Manager by right clicking the instance name (most likely either your computer name or LOCAL) and click "Edit SQL Server Registration".
Nobody here uses them. And this is the home of Hungarian notation, so you'd think they would.<BR><BR>
Get....... for select SPs<BR><BR>Put..... for insert/update SPs<BR><BR><BR>
...but not for other queries.<BR><BR>PlaceOrder, CancelOrder, OrderAccepted, OrderRejected, etc.<BR><BR>
