Hello,

I have an ASP application which accesses a SQL Server DB directly. I am seeing that when a page is called to be displayed, it needs to perform an 'Audit Login/Logoff' for each SQL Execute called. i can see this in SQL profiler when I run a trace. Here is the basic set up for the page...

Page.asp

Connect()
1st SQL Execute
2nd SQL Execute

HTML Body

Disconnect()

The profiler shows..

Audit Login
1stSQL
Audit Login
2ndSQL
Audit Logout
Audit Logout

Why does SQL Server perform this twice when I only call the connection string once?
