Default getting user logons from NT/XP

    Hi,

On our old asp intranet pages, we used to be able to recgonise users by picking up their login username using an ocx that called advapi32.dll and then caused a postback to the server, setting the username as a session variable.

Now that we've started using aspx pages on the intranet, getting this information has become a bit of a problem since we can no longer access the session variable set in asp. Although we could just use the ocx and postback method on each aspx page to set it anew, we wondered if there was any more elegant method we could use to capture the username using .NET technology?
