Default Ad Rotator Component

Ad Rotator - When I run the following Ad.asp The ads rotate when I refresh
But when I click on them I don&#039t go to the url specified, but it just refreshes the page, usually with a new ad.. When I put the curser over the ad it shows a very long url at the bottom of the browser. It is supposed to take me to the URL specified. What am I doing wrong???

AdSchedule.txt is:

border 2
height 50
width 110
*
imagesanr.gif
http://www.dlrb.com
The Happiness Formula
1
images

I think it&#039s because if you use the options above (BORDER, WIDTH, etc.), you need to also specify a REDIRECT file.

See http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/042999-2.shtml for an example of how to use the Ad Rotator.

So, make some redirect script, and specify it in your AdSched.txt file. So, you might add the line REDIRECT /scripts/adredir.asp at the top of AdSched.txt, and then create an ASP file there which has only the following line:

<% Response.Redirect Request.QueryString("URL") %>

Let me know if that works! Have a great day!
