Hi all.
I have a table in an access database with these fields:
userID ==> auto num
userName ==> text
firstName ==> text
lastName ==> text
password ==> text
group ==> text

I have a form for the admin to add more users to the table.
The form can add 1 or more users at a time.
I want to check if the data from the form doesn't match the data in the table.. i.e.:
if the admin add this user:
userName=johng | firstName=john | lastName=gets | password=12345 | group = none
I want to check that the user name (johng) does not exists in the table and to check if there's a record for firstName=john & lastName=gets...

how do I do that?? I know how to check the userName:
SELECT * FROM list WHERE userName IN uNameStr

uNameStr is a string of all the user names that the admin sent via the form, I have the same thing for first names and last names...
how can I do that in a single sql statement???
thanks.
