Default Getting User Logon ID

    Hi All,
In the past I have retrieved users' network logon ids by importing the namespace System.Security.Principal and then using code like: Response.Write(User.Identity.Name);

I am tyring to do this again and in this particular project, it is not working. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

TIA, Sven

    Exactly what code are you using to get the logon id?

I have a project that uses FormsAuthentication and the line "HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name" returns me the username just fine.
