Default Scroll matching frames?

I have two frames, split vertically. together they create a table, with the row headers being in the left frame, and the data in the right, so you can scroll across the data to the right horizontally, and still see the row headers. It works great, but when there is enough data to make the pages scroll vertically, they will of course scroll independently, making the headers on the left not match up to their respective data on the right.

Is there a way to get both of them to scroll verticall together, and keep the two separate frames?

    Default What if....

What if you used javascript on the page to move the header content along with the page.

Check out look at some of the products, and look in the bottom right hand corner, there is a little deal that sticks at the bottom corner of the page, and scrolls along with it.

This could probably be adapted to move a layer horizontally across the page, holding your header information in place while you scroll, and you can get rid of the gawd awful frames :D

-- Whol
