Default Session.Abandon Doesn't work?

Most of the times I tried to work with Sessio.Abandon, is not working. Try the following code.
<%
response.write(session.session id)
session.abandon
response.write(session.sessionid)
%>
Both the times I display the sessionID value, it&#039s showing me the same thing.
But it should not happen llike that.
What can be the possibility?
Please answer.

Thanks..

I&#039ve recently done some reading on this fact. What happens is, when you call session.abandon, it doesn&#039t actually abandon the sessions until the script is finished executing.

go here:

Dano
