    I am using asp (vbscript language) to validate a mailto form <BR>The script works great in internet explorer but won&#039t work at all in netscape.<BR>This is the script<BR>Function form_onSubmit<BR> If Len(Document.form.name.Value) &#060; 1 then<BR> Msgbox "You need to enter a name"<BR> form_onSubmit = False<BR> Else<BR> form_onSubmit = True<BR> End if<BR>End Function<BR>

    I hate to burst your bubble but you are not using ASP there. ASP is script which is inside the &#060;% and %&#062; delimiters. If you have it like this:<BR><BR>&#060;SCRIPT LANGUAGE=VBScript&#062;<BR>...<BR>&#060;/SCRIPT&#062;<BR><BR>that is client-side script. Netscape doesn&#039t understand VBScript, so you&#039re SOL. That&#039s why you should always use JavaScript as the client-side scripting language.
