## Intergalactical Travel

How many time takes a travel?

Take a sheet of paper, draw two points on it, then draw two points then take a ruler and draw a line, o.k. 2, 3 seconds on draw.... Another way to travel?

YES, fold the paper and join the two points then there is no distance, pencil is no needed...

What about a travel between dimensions? decompile yourself until become an hidrogen atom... then recompile againg, yes you could travel everywere...

Travel = Split (Time, ZeroDistance)

TravelAcrossDimensions = Split (You, [ParentObject, SonObject])

## RE: Intergalactical Travel

The first bit's well documented - the idea of Wormholes has been around for a long time.

The second bit though:
What about a travel between dimensions? decompile yourself until become an hidrogen atom... then recompile againg, yes you could travel everywere...
You still have to move the hydrogen atoms around, which are limited to the speed of light.

Craig.

## I have trouble crossing the street let alone ...

Another problem is that not everything is made of hydrogen atoms!

## RE: I have trouble crossing the street let alone .

Theoretically, we could all be broken down until we were hydrogen atoms, protons, neutrons and electrons (assuming we don't break down to those stupid quark things).
However, why we don't break the hydrogen atoms down so we just had protons/neutrons/electrons is beyond me.

Craig.

## *OLD OLD OLD ideas*

Have you just finally go around to reading some of the science fiction novels from the 1940s and 1950s??? Or even the 1930s, in some cases?

I think the first time I read the "folded sheet" idea on interstellar travel was probably in the late 1950s. But, then, I didn't start reading SciFi until then.

Come on, Mauricio, get *modern*!

SciFi is all about nanotechnology nowadays. No more of the corny folded-sheet or matter transmitter stuff.

Maybe he's from Cuba? They're stuck in the 50's. ;)
