Thanks for ur help
I think so i tried to follow the code but looks like he is using session_end event from global.asax file. When i put the break point and close the browser inbetween, the code did not brak at session end. I just need to run couple of sql statments when browser is closed inbetween. Please let me know
It doesn't fire the Session_Onend event. It relies on the cache to always fire when it expires.

Thus, if the user closes their browser, they won't be able to get back in until the cache expires. We simply inform the user that they may not have signed out properly and need to wait x number of minutes and their account will be available. If they
need immediate assistance, contact our tech support team and they'll release the lock over the phone.

This is a pretty solid way to ensure that their locks get freed up if they don't sign up properly without having to contact technical support. So far, it has worked out well for our users and our tech support team.
Thanks again
The think is my app is not much of user names. I have the x amt of license number in a Database field and when someone login and logot I just want to update to decrement/increment the count.
