In my Asp code I want to merge the contensts of two .htm files into one file. Is there a Vbscipt command to merge files together or do I have to read each one individually and copy the contents on file 2 after file 1.
Do you want to merge them just ONE TIME to create a static file that won't change often? <BR><BR>Do you want to merge them EVERY TIME the page is requested, because, for example, your Navigation is in one file and your content is in the other? <BR><BR>Do you want to merge them on a daily or weekly basis to create a static page from dynamic content?
this is called in Include file. <BR><BR>It actually has nothing to do with ASP, it's handled by the webserver. <BR><BR>You do it like this:<BR><!--#Include File="C:BlahBlah"--><BR><BR>You need to use an absolute page, like I showed above.
and by the way, the contents of the include file will be inserted in the exact location of the include command. So, if you want the contents of the include to be at the bottom of the page, put that include command at the bottom of the source page.
