I've just created a dumb PDF form to try it out. I've inserted username, password and submit fields onto a pdf file, made the submit button send the information to my asp login file on my server. When I enter information and press submit, the form is submitted and the server receives the information. However, I get redirected to:
C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorLocal SettingsTemppa018248.htm
which is a copy (without images) of what I should be seeing after submitting the form. This copy is obviously on my harddisk and not on the web. When the login page redirects, the contents of the local file changes to reflect the new page but still, I'm stuck locally.

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 4.05 .. I don't know if this might be the problem (should I use a more recent version?) or if it is something I would have to change in my ASP file. (I'm not using FDF submit, just plain HTML Form submit on the mouse up event of my submit button in my PDF form)

Any suggestions?
