I have folders with a couple hundred subfolders that cause me no issue. Folders dont take up any space, as they are really just logical pointers, so you should be able to build millions of them really.<BR><BR>My guess is that there is a limit of somewhere around 32,000 which is a pretty typical cap in 32 bit operating systems. I think I heard the limit or read it at some point in one of my NT classes long ago, but it escapes me now. I would bet that the limit on how many levels deep you can go on a folder is fairly low compared to the total number of folders you can contain in a single folder.<BR><BR>I think you could write a pretty simply ASP page that would just create folders until your OS told it no, but the results could be... well... really really bad for your machine :)<BR><BR>If you do come across the answer, I would be curious to see it.
