Default Access 2000 Query Question

    I've built a query inside of Access which retrieves certain records I want. I was able to call it from my asp page using...

SQL = "Select * FROM CharactersList"

However, can I set the query up so that it will dynamically display results based on a value I send with the above query? Like the way you do with Stored Procedures in SQL Server.

SQL = "sp_CharactersList '" & value & "'"

I rarely ever use Access, so I've never tried this before. I'm not sure how to send it to the database or even how to use it in the query, once it's got it. Or wheteher this is even possible??

Thanks,
Wil
easiest way:

SQL = "SELECT * FROM CharacterList WHERE Character = '" & value "'"

or create a stored query with a parameter, you can execute it the same as a stored proc
