    Default font size hell

    I&#039;m testing a site out on different versions of IE and I cannot get the text to be the same size on them!<BR><BR>I cannot get my style sheet font-size attribute to work unless I include this line:<BR><BR>&#060;!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" ""&#062;<BR><BR>instead of just &#060;html&#062;.<BR><BR>Then it still won&#039;t change the display in IE 4 or 5.<BR><BR>There seem to be so many style options....pixel size, point size, relative size as well as the html font size...which one is best?<BR><BR>All I want to do is make sure that IE versions 4 and upwards render the text the same size (assuming running same resolution)<BR><BR>And then there&#039;s Netscape and Opera etc....<BR><BR>help!<BR><BR>

    what units are you using? px, pts, picas, what?<BR><BR>see for a bunch of CSS discussion.<BR><BR><BR>j<BR>
