I have a page with an <OBJECT> tag that checks for and downloads the latest version of a .cab file. After the download is complete I want to redirect the user to an .ica file. The problem is that if the user does not have the object and is downloading it for the first time, the page redirects(using response.redirect) before the object downloads. Is there a way to check for the existence of an object on a client machine(including version), download it if it doesn't exist, and then redirect the user to another page?

Thanks for any help!
