Forgive my ignorance (and please don't tell me to read the FAQs). I just need a simple suggestion or tip.<BR><BR>I have a table with an expiration date field. It simply defines the date the record expires.<BR><BR>Suppose I have a regularly scheduled job (say - daily at 2am) that uses the stored procedure to check all records for ones that have expired. <BR><BR>I want to use SQL (MS SQL 2K) to send an email to the record owner notify them to update the record. I know that SQL Mail can accomplish this, but my host does not offer this.<BR><BR><ignorance>What other method(s) exist to cause an email to be sent without any user intervention? Others keep suggesting ASPEmail, JMail, etc. Doesn't this require that someone browse a page?</ignorance><BR><BR>I need to send an email from SQL.
