    Default Busy Signal

    When I submit something to a database or am crunching numbers how can I pop up something to let the user know that the app is working? I have some real impatient peops that will continuously hit submit buttons or end up crashing their IE because they don't know the application is doing something on the backend. Using VS.NET, vb

    Add a label to the page called "Message" or whatever and populate it&#039;s text when someone submits<BR><BR>void doInsert(Object sender, EventArgs e)<BR>{<BR> Message.InnerHtml = " Adding Record... ";<BR><BR> DB update code...<BR> <BR> Message.InnerHtml = " Record Successfully Added ... ";<BR><BR>}<BR><BR>Maybe change the font color of message after DB update is complete as well.
