how can I force my splash page (www.mysite.com) to run my ASP scripts?

It seems to only run them when you go to the specific page (www.mysite.com/index.asp).

This is getting on my nerves!
Have you tried naming it "default.asp"?

What's the default document on the web server? If you're hosted by an ISP then you may have to contact them to get it changed to "index.asp" if you're insistant on using that.

Craig.
well, I'm doing it all on the testing server at the moment (ie. my PC with IIS running on it).

It loads the page alright when I just load www.mysite.com/, it just doesn't run my cookie-checking script.

If I load www.mysite.com/index.asp, it works exactly as I want it to.
DOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

It was set up as a default document, but I hadn't deleted my old index.htm from the testing server! And that had higher priority than index.asp.

I am one dumb biznitch.

thanks
