Default ASP/SQL Server Recordsets

I'm connecting to a SQL Server DB through asp. If recordsets that I open are never closed, do they timeout with a certain amount of time? Do you know how long that time period is? I've connected to an Informix DB through asp, where recordsets had to be closed or else they would remain open until someone physically closed them.

Thanks

The default timeout is set on the IIS server for 30 minutes I believe, you can set it yourself in IIS or in your script.
