    Default Application.Lock

    Read the whole question before you "RIP" me. I know how Application.Lock works. What I have not been able to find is what happens if you call Application.Lock and someone else already has it locked. It would make sense that the code (script) execution would STOP (pause) until the other process that has the Lock releases it, but I have not been able to verify that. I have looked everywhere: Google, 4GuysFromRolla, Micro$oft, ...

    Yes, the second locker waits until the first releases the lock.<BR><BR>Basically, a queue is established, first come, first served.<BR><BR>You might be interested in other aspects of this, discussed in this thread:<BR>
