Starting to use Linux as my desktop but looking for a good replacement for my Homesite 5.2 editor. Can anyone recommend a good tool to edit ASP pages via Linux?
Stick with pico. Yeah, the editor sucks ***, but that's what ya get for using Linux ;)

If you were working from windows to upload to linux, you'd have many more options.
Linux is an OS ( a small extented subset of Unix tho truthfully they have little in common. )
thank you, but I should've posted <sarcasm> around it I think.

;-)
...you *must* use "emacs". Period. No choice. And you *must* be able to add your own custom extensions in Lisp, of course.

(Well, if you're a really old-time *nix dude, "vi" is an acceptable alternative.)
and the newer versions don't ship with vi anymore... it's now vim (vi - improved. Improved to what? A pile of crap to a sliver of crap)
...it's simply *not* traditional. We *real* Unix people reject all this noveau sof-wariche crap.

You mean there is a Unix/linux made *after* 1989!
I thought they got it right first time and just churn out the same stuff!
