Default If you are using MS Access...

you can hide queries and tables and bascially anything you like. This won't stop a more advance user to unhide the query and edit it, but it's a start.

If you want more protection, you can even go as far as using access control to stop your users from unhiding and editing the query. It's worth getting a book on access control, because it's quite a complex subject.

If you just want to hide a query, go to the database window, right-click the query, select "Properties" from the pop-up menu and tick the "Hidden" box. Then simply "Apply" or "OK" the dialog and you're done.

Oliver.
