Default Setting Up PWS on Win 2000

It say it's important that the Website run on a computer that has NT Server or Win 2000. I'm running Windows 2000. Then it talks about setting up PWS for 95, 98 and NT. When I tried to make an asp page it only showed the HTML indicating that I did not of PWS installed. So, what do I need to do? Microsoft is unhelpful and when I went to the link Windows 2000 was not among the OS that I had to choose from. I'm sure I'm missing something. I just have no clue...:)

You need to use IIS. IIS is the Web server that ships with Windows 2000. It might already be installed. See if a directory named:<BR><BR>InetPubwwwroot<BR><BR>exists. If it does, this is where you want to place your .asp files. If not, you will need to install IIS. For information on this, see:<BR><BR><BR>hth
