Is there a way in SQL Server 7 to format Floats so that commas and 2 places of decimals are displayed e.g. 12345 displayed as 12,345.00. I need the dBase to do this and not the asp.

Many thanks
Ron.

Not possible floats are stored as 4 or 8 bytes and display as is. You could however convert it to a string, but would still hit display problems of 2nd and 3rd comma.
Why do you need the Server to do this not an ASP page?
We try to let the dB do as much of the work as possible. Iv'e tried using select convert(varchar(30),Spend,1) ASpend but
1600000.0 comes out as 1.6000000e+006 and 1.3 comes out as 1.3000000e+000 , any ideas how to get around this ?

Ron
