I asked a question of sorts. I have been around this board long enough to post an occasional question/inquiry whenever I feel like it. Deal with it.<BR><BR>I got some valuable information from the responses. 1) that FTP can be very reliable but that hosting companies can set a fast timeout period.<BR><BR>2) Perhaps it is my GoLive 5 application which I have tried to continue using. But it seems I have had the same problem using many kinds FTP programs including WS_FTP and FTP Voyager.<BR><BR>So I was looking for quick insight.<BR><BR>It has everything to do with ASP because Most if not ALL ASP developers use FTP.<BR><BR><BR>
