If I set Server.ScriptTimeout to 90 seconds, but I call a COM method that takes more than an hour, with ASP kill off this long-running COM call? I don't think so. What if the COM method calls back into ASP, to check Response.ClientConnected, for example? I still don't think so.

Any ideas on how to make all COM calls obey the ScriptTimeout? I can imagine an invasive method involving the COM call honoring a page-level timer value, but that'd be a pain.
