    Default ASP file encoding

    Hi,<BR><BR>I have one query regarding Asp file encoding. Is any way to encode ASP file means when somebody opens my ASP file in any editor then user will not able to see source code of asp file.<BR><BR>I know that using "VBSCRIPT.ENCODE" option you can do the same but problem with microsoft script encoder is that, its decoder is easily available. <BR><BR>Please help me in above issue.<BR><BR>Thanks <BR><BR>Simpy Jha

    The only sure-fire way is to move your logic out of ASP files and into a DLL file, then instantiate that from your ASP pages.<BR><BR>That way, you distribute the (compiled therefore unreadable) DLL file and some ASP pages that just call the DLL. There&#039;s virtually no code in the ASP pages.<BR><BR>Craig.
