    how does one preserve whitespace (cr, lf) in access? i want to paste nicely formatted text documents into access and keep the paragraph formatting.<BR><BR>if possible, can you reply to wrightw@ionet.net?<BR><BR>thanks!<BR>william

    Access is keeping the CRLF. The problem you have is that the browser can&#039t display it corrcetly.<BR><BR>Try wrapping the text with &#060;PRE&#062;&#060;/PRE&#062; tags.<BR><BR>e.g. Response.Write "&#060;PRE&#062;" & rst("textfield") & "&#060;/PRE&#062;"<BR><BR>HTH<BR><BR>Jerry

    okay, that sort of worked...but now the lines go off the page. is there another tag that tells it to wrap?<BR><BR>thanks!
