I've got a datagrid displaying some data from an Access Database. I want the data to be editable so am using the <asp:EditCommandColumn> functionality to display edit/update/cancel buttons. This all works fine.

My question is... how do you get the buttons to display only on selected rows? My datagrid displays a list of news articles submitted by users. I want to put the edit button only next to rows containing articles that have 'Status' = "Expired". The rest of the rows should not be editable at all.

I've very new to ASP.net and currently teaching myself as I go! So apologies if there's an obvious solution to this question!!

Cheers,
Mark
