Default Problems with .net debugger

I have just started with .net and am having problems with the debugger. When I hit f5 to debug and run, visual studio hangs. Even for a simple program like hello world! I have to kill the process from task manager to get it working again.
If I run without debug it works fine, but I really need to use the debugger!
Does anyone know how to fix this???

You might want to try and re-install VS.
You may also want to add more RAM if you are using a system under 128 MB. You may also want to make sure you have closed all other programs while doing this so you ensure you have plenty of resources.

This is a PC problem. I doubt it has anything to do with VS itself.
