Default return column to defaults

I would like to trun one col in my database to the default value. Col name is active and the default value is No

Thanks
Stephen

    Default UPDATE table SET active=False

I assume this is an Access table, and that active is a Yes/No field. If so, Access lies to you. That's actually a *boolean* field, so the conventional values to use are True and False, instead of Yes and No.

UPDATE table SET active=False

That will change *all* records in that table to have False (which Access reports will show as No) in the "active" field.
