I have IIS server that needs to check if a file on another server in the local network exist and if so, provide a link to it.
something like this:
web server is called: WWW
I'm looking for files on: RECORDER

I have a file that I know exist lets say its called 'test.wav' and i use the following code:
Set fso = Server.CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")< BR>strPath = "\RECORDERstorage est.wav"
If fso.FileExists(strPath) Then
strRecordingURL = "http://www/ArchivedRecordings/test.wav"
Response.Write "A Recording Exists for this Call. <A href=""" & strRecordingURL & """>Click Here to play it."
End If
When if run this it does not find the file. I thought at first that maybe the FSO didn't support UNC paths, so i mapped the storage shared folder to the 'I:" drive, and changed the strPath = "I: est.wav" but my results were the same.

Any help would be greatly apprieciated, im going out of my mind with this thing.
I am runnning IIS on W2K Adv. with SP3 and full updates.
