Default Page Exit issue

    Would appreciate some help please...

I need to run some ASP code when a user leaves a particular page. The ASP is a pure database update, nothing to see. I do not want to open a window to do it.

I thought to use Session_OnEnd, but it doesn't seem to fire until the session times out or is explicitly abandoned.

Maybe this is really simple, and I'm just really stupid at this hour,... but how do I code the OnUnLoad event to execute Session.Abandon... or is there a better way to do it?

Thanks
Tim

This has been asked lots of times, and it all comes down to the answer "there's no fullproof way to do it"

Session_OnEnd is unreliable

and for OnUnload, a lot of people (like me) browse a website with multiple IE windows. So when I close one windown, OnUnload will be fired while I might have 3 other windows open.
