    Default adding empty strings

    how can u have the option to add either an empty or not empty string to ur database?<BR>when i tried leaving it empty i got an error saying:<BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039;80004005&#039; <BR><BR>[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Field &#039;Link.Linkname&#039; cannot be a zero-length string. <BR><BR>/, line 42 <BR><BR>so is there a way?

    Default RE: adding empty strings

    goto access, click the field name, and take off "Required".<BR>~~Chaotix

    Default Open the database file in access,

    right click the table "Link" and select design view. Change the property on the Linkname field to "Allow Zero Length" = Yes, save the database.
