Default uploading

i need to create an asp page through which users can upload files, generally small gifs and jps. on the web server to which it's uploading, there is anonymous write permission but not execute permission.

all of the upload scripts i've tried result in "execute acess forbidden." am i doing this incorrectly, or do all upload scripts execute, instead of just writing? could anyone point me to an upload script that won't give me this problem?

thanks in advance for your help!

    Default RE: uploading

the majority of solutions don't need execute access.

what upload component does your host support? that's the easiest way, and I haven't seen a host without an upload component for ages.
