i've created a simple asp page that is intended for the password check. user types username and password and clicks the submit button the control is transferred to the another asp page where the username and password entered by the user is checked. if the password or username is invalid then i want to redisplay the first page and force the user to enter the valid username and password. i'm unable to do ao. i'm using response.redirect("pass.html") but i'm recieving the error that is noticed below:

'The HTTP headers are already written to the client browser. Any HTTP header modifications must be made before writing page content. '

what is the meaning of this error. what should i do to solve this problem?
