Default what type of server should I use?

    Hi,

I have an access database running on PWS/Windows98 reasonably well. It&#039s very simple - one table, a few types of queries. I&#039d like to go live with the site, but I&#039m not sure what kind of server I&#039m going to need. I wouldn&#039t expect a ton of traffic, at most several dozen hits a day, so Access is probably OK, but it seems that PWS isn&#039t going to work here. Any suggestions on where to go from here? Is NT Server/IIS my best option or is there something in between PWS and IIS that might work?

Thanks for your suggestions,
geoff

Go with IIS through a Web host. You can get a Web host account for a low monthly rate. See:

http://www.4GuysFromRolla.com/webtech/hosts.shtml

to read about some of the better hosts. Also, you can search for various web hosting companies at:

HostIndex.com
http://www.hostindex.com

and TopHosts.com
http://www.tophosts.com

Happy Programming!
