Because you probably have one of those carbon copy fill in applications... and you want to send data to specific fields with asp, to a dot matrix printer.

Irk.

You may have to write an executable to specifically place this info... sounds tough.

Perhaps your in a position to scrap this technology and use PDF with a laser/inkjet printer? If you are, do so... otherwise you may have many a long nights ahead of you.

Good luck.
Thanks much for the input from everyone. I am rewriting a DOS based FoxPro 2.6 application in ASP/SQL. It is not a problem to recreate the form in HTML, place the needed values in certain areas on the page and print copy 1, 2, & 3 on a laserprinter. I just wanted to find out if ASP could actually communicate with an old impact style of printer.
Thank you all again for the input.
