.. application and an "runme.bat" file or something like that.<BR><BR>The runme file can pass whatever params you want.<BR><BR>Or, your VB application could just check the Internet for it's parameters.
The user unzips the two files. Fine. But then unless he/she purposely *runs* the ".bat" file, INSTEAD of the ".exe", the parameter won't get passed. <BR><BR>But I like the basic idea of zipping it up: Send the ".exe" *AND* send a DATA file that the .exe finds and reads!<BR><BR>The check-the-internet idea is cute, but what happens if the user is disconnected from the 'net when he/she starts the executable?<BR><BR>
