Default Spaces do NOT work in HTML!

No matter how many adjacent spaces you have, they are all crunched down to *ONE* space.

You *can* use &nbsp; to avoid that (Non Breaking SPace), but that doesn't work to space things out right unless you are using a fixed width font (Courier!).

LEARN TO USE TABLES!

If you put each row in <TR>....</TR> and each item in the row, blank or not, in <TD>...</TD> then all will be lined up prettily.

That's what tables are for. Don't fight HTML, learn to *use* it.
