Default ASP Sessions

I know an ASP session ends if a user has not requested or refreshed a page in the ASP application for a specified period, but does the page being refreshed have to be an .ASP file or can it be a .HTML file?

Thank you very much in advance.

- CR

Default Since it is an ASP session

which EXPIRES so you need to have an ASP page for that.

    Default actually

a session exists at the server, even if a particular server variable was instantiated by an asp page.

any page within that application that is requested or refreshed continues the session because the server had to send the page back, thereby letting the server know that the session is still continuing (asp or htm). now, you can't access any server variables through an html page; but, you could still continue the session.
