I suppose you could always "probe" for them, assuming you know the names:<BR><BR><%<BR>names = Array("Scripting.Dictionary","ADODB.Recordset") ' etc.<BR><BR>For n = 0 To UBound(names)<BR> obj = "nope"<BR> On Error Resume Next<BR> Set obj = Server.CreateObject( names(n) )<BR> On Error GoTo 0<BR> If IsObject( obj ) Then<BR> Response.Write names(n) & " is installed<br/>" & vbNewLIne<BR> End If<BR>Next<BR>%><BR><BR>Hacky, and you need to know what you are looking for, but it should work.<BR>
I tried some code a while back that determined it if ASP objects were installed. For the life of me, I can't remember the code, so I will try to find it. It would determine if CDONTS or ASPMAIL was installed..... The code was pretty simple, but forget it..... If I find it I will pass it along.
