Default graceful error handling

i need to make my aspx pages more graceful in the way that they handle errors. i just moved a copy of all the files to a different server that i will use for development, and so that enabled me to set the debug mode for my application server to false and to also disable tracing on my application server.

but what i want to do is to make sure that, when errors do occur, a nice, user-friendly page shows up with all the design elements of the application and a friendly error message written by me rather than some machine-generated error message with no graphic design elements.

has functionality to make this very easy. can anyone show me how? or at least point me to an article or knowledge base resource of some type that will explain it to me?

thanks in advance.
