I have developed a contact page for my company's website. Like any good programmer would do, I've given them the option of selecting HTML responses, or text responses. After careful consideration, instead of sending our response to them directly, we are giving them a link that will put them back into our contact loop. The volley of contact between us and them can go on forever. The problem lies in the link sent out with text emails. For example http://www.ourserver.com/contactResponse.asp?cId=DF6DF076956C4CEA8FC286D1A7 FBBA71 . The last 5 characters of the link always drop off to the next line. That wouldn't be a problem if people would copy and paste the link from their email like we suggest, but those last 5 character aren't included in the link. HTML mail works fine. Does anyone have a workaround? How can I prevent those last 5 characters from dropping to the next line, OR BETTER YET, how can I prevent their editor from displaying it as a hyperlink? Obviously this wouldn't be a problem if they correctly chose HTML over text.
